Manila Montet FC: Where Discipline Meets Fighting Spirit
As we await the commencement of our training and prepare to introduce our first players, let’s take a moment today to explore our football philosophy.
Manila Montet FC follows a football philosophy inspired by greats like Sir Alex Ferguson and Cristiano Ronaldo. Our approach revolves around two key principles.
Firstly, we believe in a never-give-up attitude, a mindset championed by Sir Alex Ferguson. We want our players to strive for excellence, showing resilience in the face of challenges. This spirit is at the core of our club, molding our players into true winners. Ferguson speaks passionately about wanting to instill values in his players. More than giving them technical skills, he wanted to inspire them to strive to do better and to never give up—in other words, to make them winners.
The second pillar is discipline, exemplified by Cristiano Ronaldo. Despite being 38 years old, Ronaldo’s exceptional performance on the field, with 53 goals in 2023, showcases the impact of discipline. His success is a result of relentless work ethic, both in training and beyond. This dedication sets the standard for our players, emphasizing the importance of persistent effort in achieving success.
Tevez says, while Messi is a natural, Ronaldo has to work hard, per Goal’s James Westwood: “Lionel Messi, I never saw him in the gym. Cristiano, on the other hand, always stopped in the gym after training: For him, it is an obsession, and being the best in everything, he always arrived at work early.”
In summary, Manila Montet FC’s football philosophy centers on never giving up and the relentless pursuit of excellence, drawing inspiration from the legacies of Sir Alex Ferguson and Cristiano Ronaldo.
