Manila Montet FC Joins Forces with The Montet Philanthropic Society to help Filipino Communities
Manila Montet FC is more than just a football club. The club is owned by Montet Sports Inc., a non-profit organization based in the Philippines and funded by the Montet Group. The Montet Group is dedicated to charitable activities, particularly in supporting children’s education through scholarships.
Integration of Football and Charity
Until now, Manila Montet FC operated separately from our charity efforts. However, reflecting on last season’s experiences, we have decided to integrate our football activities with our charitable mission for greater impact.
Commitment to Local Development and Support
Moving forward, Manila Montet FC will actively promote local football development while supporting hardworking children and families in needs across the Philippines. By aligning with the Montet philanthropic society, we aim to achieve even greater success and make an even more significant impact.
Future of Manila Montet FC
Manila Montet fans can rest assured that our will to play at the professional level remains intact. Although we will not compete in the next PFL first division due to relegation alongside four other clubs under the new PFF format, we will be back. We look forward to working closely with the PFF again. Once we’re ready, we will organize tryouts, so stay tuned!
In the pictures below, you can see Montet Sports’ first official action in the province of Antique in Lombuyan Elementary School. This is the third filipino school supported by the Montet Group, and we continue to make a positive difference.
