1. General Overview
The Manila Montet Challenge Series is open to any club—professional, semi-pro, or high-level amateur—ready to step up and prove themselves against us. Matches are played under standard football regulations.
2. Eligibility
- Open to clubs, teams, and organizations invited by Manila Montet FC.
- Teams must confirm their participation at least 2 weeks before the match date.
- Players must be registered members of their respective teams.
3. Match Format
- Match Duration: 2 halves of 45 minutes each (standard FIFA rules).
- Squad Size: 11 players on the field, with up to 7 substitutes allowed.
- Substitutions: Each team is allowed up to 5 substitutions per match.
- No Extra Time or Penalties: Matches will end after 90 minutes, regardless of the score.
4. Scoring System & Tiebreakers
- Win = 3 points
- Draw = 1 point
- Loss = 0 points
If two or more teams have the same points, the ranking will be determined by:
- Goal difference
- Goals scored
- Fewest goals conceded
5. Player Roster Submission
- Each team must submit the final list of convocated players at least 3 days before the match.
- The submitted roster must include full names and player IDs.
- Only players from the submitted list are eligible to play. No last-minute additions or replacements are allowed, except for injury-related cases, which require medical proof.
- Failure to submit the roster on time may result in a disqualification at the discretion of the organizers.
6. Code of Conduct
- Respect for referees, officials, opponents, and spectators is mandatory.
- Teams are responsible for the behavior of their players, staff, and supporters.
7. Kit & Equipment
- Teams must wear official uniforms, including matching jerseys, shorts, and socks.
- Goalkeepers must wear distinct colors from their teammates and opponents.
- Avoiding Color Clashes: The away team is responsible for bringing an alternate kit in case of a color clash. If both teams wear similar colors, the away team must change.
- Shin guards are mandatory for all players.
8. Match Officials
- Matches will be officiated by a referee and two assistant referees.
- The referee’s decisions are final and cannot be overturned during the match.
9. Venue & Logistics
- Matches will be held at designated stadiums or facilities approved by Manila Montet FC.
- Teams must arrive at least 60 minutes before kickoff for warm-ups and check-ins.
- Manila Montet will always play as the home team for all matches in the Challenge Series.
10. Match Analysis & Public Display of Results
- All participating clubs must agree that the match results, player performances, and key statistics will be analyzed and publicly displayed by Manila Montet FC.
- Analysis may include match reports, tactical breakdowns, individual player ratings, and highlights shared on official platforms.
- Teams cannot dispute the public release of match details unless there is a factual error, in which case a correction may be considered.
11. Team Rankings & Visibility
- The official competition ranking will display only the teams that have played against Manila Montet FC.
- Manila Montet FC will not be included in the ranking, as the club will play more matches than the other teams.
- Rankings will be based on results against Manila Montet FC, considering win/loss records, goal difference, and other tiebreakers as stated in Rule 4.
- A Major Advantage for Teams:
- Competing against one of the most popular clubs in the Philippines gives teams a unique opportunity for visibility and exposure.
- Manila Montet FC will talk about the teams that face them, featuring them in match reports, analysis, and social media coverage.
- This allows participating clubs to gain recognition, attract supporters, and boost their reputation within the football community.
12. Competition Authority
- The Manila Montet Challenge Series is fully owned and organized by Manila Montet FC.
- Manila Montet FC has the final say on all matters related to the competition, including rules, scheduling, match analysis, and public disclosures.
- By participating, teams agree to abide by the rules and decisions made by Manila Montet FC, with no right to dispute the competition’s structure or management.
13. Championship Rule – Determining the Winner
- If no team defeats Manila Montet FC: Manila Montet FC will be declared the Champion.
- If exactly one team defeats Manila Montet FC: That team will earn the right to play a Final Match against Manila Montet FC. The winner of the Final will be crowned the Challenge Series Champion.
- If two or more teams defeat Manila Montet FC: The team with the largest goal difference in their victory over Manila Montet FC will be declared the Champion.
